Absa instant life has declined my husbands claim because its not covered under their critical illness and dreaded disease cover which shows how limited their cover is. Please be aware of the critical illnesses that they do and dont cover like Pulmonary embolism , which my husband had , and it was a massive one which they did a procedure for , even though its listed on their claim forms , they say its not covered. Had i known this earlier i would have definitely chosen a more reputed .insurance company.

Thank you for responding but i dont think the outcome will be any different. ABSA assesor says youll have a standard claim form that includes pulmonary embolism Section C page 8 , but excludes it from the standard policy documents you send us from the internet. So i dont think you will give me a differnt answer after investigation she also said it would be a disaster if we pursued a claim of that nature. In her words.
