Very poor after sales service received from InsteptaCar Wonderboom.

Very poor after sales service received from InsteptaCar Wonderboom.

On 24 February 2017, I purchased a 2014 1.4 Polo Vivo from Jonethan Hart at InspectaCar Wonderboom and immediately reported that following needed repair: Dent on the left door, AC making a suspicious click-click sound and one of the indicator lights was missing a cover.

It was agreed that we return the vehicle on 2 March 2017 so that InspectaCar Wonderboom can repair the abovementioned. On this day, only the indicator cover was fixed and the vehicle was returned to us with the instruction to return the vehicle on 7 March 2017 for the remainder of the repairs required, as as those components fall under Volkswagen warrantee.

On 7 March, the vehicle was returned to InspectaCar, as agreed, but Volkswagen advised that the AC part needs to be ordered. Therefore, InspectaCar kept the vehicle from 7 to 9 March to repair the dent on the door, without providing us with a courtesy vehicle during these days.

When the vehicle was returned to us, Jonethan advised that the Polo Vivo be returned to InspectaCar Wonderboom on 14 March, as Volkswagen has ordered the AC part on 7 March and it should have reached them by then.

We took the car back to InspectaCar Wonderboom on 14 March, but during the course of the day Jonathan advised that the Polo Vivo would have to spend the night, as Volkswagen is still busy with the AC repair.

On 15 March, out of pure desperation for answers, I phoned Bidvest McCarthy Volkswagen located on c/o Lavender & Zambezi Drive Pretoria at ********** , where a Kyle from the workshop advised me that the part was only ordered on 14 March 2017, but delivery was expected for 2pm on 15 March & the repair should be done by 4pm.

Therefore, at around 4pm on 15 March, my husband phoned Kyle to enquire on the progress, only to hear that the workshop is still expecting the delivery of the ordered part…

Today (16 March) 02:50PM, I am still sitting without any means of transport, while I have to look to others for taking my child to school and begging for lifts. This situation is unacceptable!

25 March 2017 took the vehicle to Kyle at Bidvest McCarthy Volkswagen located on c/o Lavender & Zambezi Drive Pretoria, to look at the dent on door. He said he will take this up with his manager William on Monday 27 March 2017. Got feedback on Teusday 28 March 2017 from William saying Jonethan from Inspectacar should speak to him directly and they will sort this out . I left a message with Jonethan to phone William and also gave William, Jonethan's cell number to get hold of him, himself. 30 March 2017 i left a message to Jonethan to get back to me with regards to the problem, and he said he gave everything through to David their workshop manager to take this up with William. Its between the two worshops to sort this out. Today 31st March AND STILL NO ANSWER ON WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS AND WHEN IS THE VEHICLE GOING IN TO FIX THE DENT. I am also waiting for registration papers since 24 February 2017 and the spare key for the vehicle. New permit had to be given as firts one expired 19 March 2017 , second one expres 13 April 2017.
