Jeep crank broke and engine was opened previosly

I Bought a 2008 Jeep wrangler Sahara unlimited last year 22 July 2014 the car broke down 28 September 2014 it was towed to the closest dealer and they found that the crank was broken.I communicated with the garage where i bough the vehicle and they just stated that it was fine on delivery and that i should use my SA warranty to claim the cost of repair in this time i had to rent a vehicle which is expensive. SA Warranty only covers up to R20000 on engine. This matter is reported to the MIO and i only received a case num and that's it . My costs will be at +- R60000 for the engine was opened before and i was not informed about this from the dealership. Is there anyone out there that can assist me.
