InspectACar Wonderboom runs a ***** business

I purchased a BMW316i from InspectACar Wonderboom. The vehicle was still under motor plan and would be due for service at a 100 000km at BMW. When I contacted BMW to book in the car for service and I was told that the motor plan was still under the previous owner's name and that I was required to first change the motor plan to my name and do a quality check of the vehicle before booking in the car for service. The contact person at BMW informed me that if I purchased the vehicle from a dealership then the dealership was responsible for the payment of R1500 for a QUALITY CHECK AND MOTOR PLAN CHANGE. I first called Baldwin (the sales person that sold me the car) who referred me to the manager because he is not with the dealership anymore. When I first contacted Glen (the manager) on the day he told me that he would only pay the R1500 if those were the terms that the sales person and I agreed upon. To my surprise, when I visited the dealership the following day to enquire further about the amount he told me that the dealership was not liable for the payment. Imagine!!! ?The dealership wont pay R1500 for a deal that's over R260 000... WTH is that? To this day the dealership has not paid for the quality check that was supposed to be done before i got the car. What's worse about the whole deal is the fact that i had to pay my own license disk a couple of days after purchasing the car. I mean who does that? I am so disappointed at the service i have received after purchasing my second car with inspect a car. The least they could've done was inform me about all these things that needed to be done to the car that would require money from me. This experience has left such a sour taste in my mouth i'm even considering returning the vehicle and cutting all ties with the dealership. One thing is for sure though, i will NEVER purchase a vehicle from this dealership again and I would not recommend anyone to do so either. These people will misinform and withhold information from you just so you can sign on the dotted line...
