Faulty clutch and accelerator

I will just cut to the chase and get straight to the point, Inspectacar, Durban-Smith Street sold us a car with a faulty clutch and accelerator. Our salesman was one Mr Lawrence, upon discovering that there was something wrong with the car we contacted the salesman and at first he tried to pin this on us by saying we were informed about the faults and we agreed that we would fix them ourselves (lies) later on he changed his tune and said his manager said there is nothing wrong with the car. I then contacted them on behalf of the owner of the car who is my father, i sent them an email on the 10th of Feb (last week Friday) and they didn't bother to respond to it, i then sent them another one this morning asking them to reply to my message as i needed it as proof that i did try to have this sorted amicably, they then decided to call my father and asked him to bring the car in for inspection (delay tactics) My offer to them was that they take the car back to have it fixed thoroughly or take it back and give us another car of the same value or else i will lodge a complaint with the ombudsman and hand this matter over to the family's attorney but they have decided not to acknowledge my offer. A few minutes ago i spoke to the lady that i have been sending the emails to who goes by the name of Shireen, she told me that she has seen both my emails and have handed them over to their manager Mr Imraan then i asked her to let me speak to him. I then speak to the manager and explain my case to him and i stress that i need them to respond to my emails as proof that we did try to sort this matter out in a way that would have worked out for both the owner of the car and the dealership. Mr Imraan blatantly refused to respond to my emails or to provide any written proof that i did contact them and we are trying to sort this matter out, instead he told me that i should go ahead and contact our attorney and the ombudsman because there will be no responses to my emails.
