I purchased a Tiguan 1.4 tsi at Inspectacar Gezina on 31 January 2018. The sales person was Mohammed Moola. The day I bought the car (after the 101 check was done) there was a knocking sound under my car. The 22nd of February 2018 I informed Mohammed that the car is making a knocking sound when I accelerate. The 26th of February 2018 I sent Mohammed an email asking him when can I bring my car in to be fix, the knocking sound was getting worse. On the 26th of February 2018 Neels got back to me and said that I can bring my car in on Wednesday the 28th of February 2018. I asked them if they can provide me with a "rental" car but they could not assist. On the 1st of March 2018 I got my car back. The day I got my car back from Koops panel beaters the knocking sound came back and the car was full of Greece. So we took the car back to Koops to be fixed. I got the car back the following day. 19 March 2018 I sent Mohammed and Neels an email telling them that the Tiguan is giving me problems again. It was the same problem. I told them that this was unacceptable and I want to bring the car back and they must swap the Tiguan with something better. I paid R206 000.00 for this car and it is giving me problems. Neels informed me that it sounds to him like a wheel balancing problem. I explained that it's not a balancing problem, it's the same knocking sound as in the beginning. Needless to say, nothing came from that. 11 May 2018 I informed Mohammed that I want to sell the car, he must please help me find a new car. 4 June 2018 my husband drove over a speed bump, "our little town is full of speed bumps" and he heard a knocking sound. As he drove home the knocking sound got worse, when he stopped, the gearbox oil was pouring out of the car. My husband phone Mohammed and explained the situation to him and told him that we are seriously getting tired of the cars problems. He must make a plan to assist us. Mohammed said that he will speak to Neels and get back to us. Mohammed never phone my husband back, my husband phone him. Mohammed said to my husband that he thinks nothing is wrong with the car we just want to give the car back. I was extremely upset to hear that, so I contacted Mohammed this morning and I told him that I don't just want to give the car back. I want my car fixed so that I can sell it. Mohammed said that he did’nt mean it like that and he will help me with my situation. I got an email from Neels saying that I must contact Koops and take the car to them, they must fix it. So, I phone Koops and they said I must bring the car in, they must open the car up and see what is wrong because someone must pay for the work. I am very upset about this ordeal and I told Neels that I am going to take this further. Neels informed me that Koops must fix the car. According to Neels, Koops gives a guarantee on their work and they have a recovery policy. I told Neels that I do not know about these policies and agreements between Inspectacar en Koops and that is why I asked Inspectacar (Neels / Mohammed) to sort this out for me.I am not happy with the car I bought, who buy's a car, drive's it for 4 months and it was in to be fix 3 times. This will be the fourth time. I am not happy with Mohammed that never comes back to a person and I am not happy that Neels just tells me that I must contact Koops and sort this out with them.If you, as head office, cannot assist me with this situation I will go to the FAIS Onbudman to assist me.Trust you find the above in order.
