Avoid Inspecticar Morgan Motors Randburg.Lesson learnt.
Avoid Inspectacar Morgan Motors/Randburg at all costs. When purchasing they/Marius Smith salesman promised me peace of mind because they are affiliated to Wesbank however my experience is the opposite. I purchased a 2015 Mazda CX-5 from them which they had delivered but without papers which they said they would get to me. I noticed a knocking sound on the suspension within the first few days of taking delivery and notified Marius Smith the salesman . I only received the cars papers after the original roadworthy had expired 60 days on(fortunately, I would learn) and had to retest the car in the province where I live despite having been promised that the car would be licenced on my name in my province with new licence plates. Our local testing stations informed us that they can't roadworthy the car/put the car through the test because the control arm bushes are worn out. The roadworthy inspector says the condition is so bad that this would/should have been picked up. Even though the car had been road worthied in Jhb it shouldn't have been because the fault would have been there on the original inspection(not something that wears out overnight). From the 24th of July Marius Smith had then stated they would sort this out and had me take the car to two service centre for quotes with the promises I shouldn't stress they would sort it out and I should get a quote (me sitting without a car whilst this was happening). I first took it to someone that I knew could do the repair at reasonable cost but this was too expensive for them, they then sent me to Bosch where the car stood for 1 and a half weeks but this too was too expensive for them and yesterday 2019/08/13 they said I should take it to the original place where they will give the go ahead. This morning I receive a letter with a 180 degree about turn saying if the car had been put the test in Jhb they absolve responsibility. Why if they felt this all along did I have to take the car for quotes and were promises made. Their refusal to repair now is directly related to what the repairs cost. If the repair was R2000 they would probably sort me, but now don't want to okay the R8000 repair. The whole experience from beginning to end has been a frustration, paper work taking long, not delivering the car with all done despite paying on the road costs(have this on the invoice). Promises for repairs but none done now. Bad for the brand Inspectacar. You need to have the car inspected before buying from Inspecticar Morgan motors because they certainly don't do it. Read up on another review for the same dealership on this platform and learn the lesson to avoid at all cost.
