A huge disappointing service delivery by Inspectacar gezina pretoria.
On the 12th of March 2020 I took on a deliver of a polo vivo 2014 model trendline from Inspectacar Gezina helped by a guy called Tah. The same day driving the car back it was emmiting an odd smell from the engine side into the car through the air vents, when it reaches 120km/h there was a explosion sound front the left side which was from an explosion of the battery, when I got home at mokopane I was nearly hospitalized due to a huge back pain caused by inhaling the acid from pretoria to mokopane, I drove the car the next day to polokwane, when I got to polokwane I opened the bonet only to find that the battery was steaming acid. Topping that, the left dim light was not working, the aircon was not functioning and the car on the advert it was said to be on 72000ks on the clock but wen I took it, it was on 105000ks on the clock. On the same day I called Tah send him the video of the steaming battery and he begged me telling me that all will be fixed if I we're to return the car because all that happened due to the absence of people who do the 80points check were not at work the day I took the car. I had to return the car, and when I entered the dealership a guy called Mohammed asked: "what's the problem with the polo now" to me it told me that I was not the only person who experienced the same problem by the same car, hence the advert said 72000ks but when i took it it was above to 105000ks but Tah was not in agreement with it though he fully understand the danger the car was posing to my life more over to my family. He begged me to change my mind of canceling the contract but I was adament on cancelling the contract, he gave me the courtesy car to go back to work claiming to be fixing the polo, two days after I had to return the courtesy coz I had to cancel the contract with wesbank and the dealership. My challenge is the dealership does not want to give me the Cancellation confirmation letter and wesbank is still sending me the messages on not skipping the payments wherein I don't have the car anymore and I have made it clear through calls and emails that I have returned the car to the dealership and I am canceling the contract. Wesbank said I must cancel with the dealership and the dealer said with wesbank. I did the both but I was tossed from polar to post hence I had to return the car to the dealership. May I be assisted to get this Cancellation since I returned the car within the 14 days window period of the satisfaction or dissatisfication by the car purchased according to the law.
