AI Review Summary

Based on recent customer reviews, InspectaCar Lifestyle Motors receives sharply divided feedback. Walk-in and showroom visitors consistently praise the welcoming atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, patience with first-time buyers, and a smooth, pressure-free browsing experience. However, a recurring and serious theme among purchasers centres on post-sale issues, with customers describing undisclosed mechanical and safety defects, incomplete pre-delivery service work, and difficulty reaching management for resolution. While front-of-house hospitality is regularly highlighted as exceptional, after-sales accountability and responsiveness emerge as significant pain points threatening overall trust in the dealership.

Lifestyle Motors

Poor customer service. No accountability. Lack of communication. Frustrating dealing with the sales person. Does not reply or update you with queries.

Safety Failure & Management Silence at I-Car Lifestyle Motors (Centurion)

I am beyond disappointed with the lack of accountability at I-Car Lifestyle Motors in Centurion. I purchased a Lexus GS 350 that was delivered with four buckled wheels—a severe latent defect and a major road safety hazard that their "thorough" checks failed to catch. The Experience: Safety Risks: The car arrived with a severe shudder. I spent my own money on new tyres and brakes, only to discover through a specialist (Tyger Wheel & Tyre) that all four rims were structurally compromised. No Accountability: I alerted the salesman, Reese, immediately. When he failed to provide a solution, the matter was moved to management. Management Silence: Despite the life-threatening nature of a "death sentence" defect like buckled wheels, management has completely ignored my requests for reimbur*****t. I have already paid for the repairs to make the car safe for my family. I am now calling on I-Car Lifestyle Motors and their financing partner, MFC, to stop the "wait and see" game and reimburse me for these structural repairs. Potential buyers beware: If something goes wrong with the "quality" vehicle they sell you, expect total silence from their management team.

I car ****mers

If you value your money, sanity, and time, stay far away from these ****mers. I bought a Nissan X-Trail from them, and within just two weeks the car threw a low oil pressure warning while I was on holiday. I did the responsible thing—stopped immediately and contacted Max Phiri. Guess what? I had to pay for my own tow truck to get the car back to JHB. They collected the vehicle from my house, took it to their so-called workshop, and then sat on it for three weeks. And after all that? They flat-out refuse to fix the car. Trying to get hold of Ahmed Vadia, the dealer principal, is a joke—he’s never available, never at the office, and apparently allergic to accountability. Max and Simon? They’ll happily ignore your calls too. This dealership is a circus run by clowns. A bunch of ***********, dishonest idiots who should not be trusted with selling bicycles, let alone cars. I will see them in court, and I strongly warn anyone considering them: run the other way.

Shocking service

I bought a vehicle from them . Received the vehicle and on my way back to Cape Town found the airconditioner was not working. Immediately reported this to salesman. When wanting to register the vehicle the people registered as proxy license as proof of identify had expired February 2024. Reported this and took two weeks to obtain new documents. No one phones back and are always in meetings. Sent quote through for repair of airconditioner but week later no response. Akso found that despite service book signed off for service done no new air filter, oil filter or diesel filter was installed. The VTS Report indicated left indicater lense cracked and rebound rubbers to be replaced. None of this was done despite salesman confirming that all had been done before me flying to Johannesburg to collect the vehicle. No one but no one calls back. I would not recommend this dealership to anybody. Next step reported matter to Consumer Protection Department in Gauteng. Fact remains who has to carry cost for airconditioner and other repairs. STAY AWAY
