Useless maintenance plan

I took out a service plan via ABSA and Innovation Group telesales in July 2014. I was told this will be a 2 year service plan covering ***kms. tried taking the car for a service and was told the policy expired in January 2016. That's not 2 years... after asking the customer service about this I got told that the 2 years is actually from the original date of vehicle registration. Why was i not told about this \clause\" when the product was sold to me??? What a load of ****. Please stay away from this shady company. no good will come of doing dealings with them."
