The worst insurance company

My mom (who is now a pensioner) took out vehicle cover/insurance with Innovation group in October 2021, which expired about 8 days ago and she was not informed about the expiry. She has been paying for a full 3 years and has never claimed. She took her vehicle in for service in September and was advised that her wiper blades and brake pads need to be replaced, however when she contacted innovation group to try and claim about 4 days ago, they rejected her claim stating that her cover had expired (it had been about 4 days since the cover expired and she was NEVER informed that her cover had expired). My mom wanted to extend her cover with them, but after such lack of understanding and professionalism she is considering cancelling the cover. I too have covers with them, and I am also considering cancelling everything. I am highly disappointed and will not recommend this company at all.
