SUGGESTING SECOND HAND PRODUCTS AND REJECTING THE CLAIM EVEN WHEN SUBMITTED AT VALID KM

A claim for my cars gearbox was done in June 2023 at 243km , my policy is valid til 250km.I was first offered a second hand “recon box” and when I rejected it saying that I did not take this cover for a second hand product for my vehicle,which would affect its value, I now get a response today to say that my claim has been rejected due to the km that my policy is now expired at 293km yet my car is not even at 293 yet! I wonder where innovation has got this figure from??? They had sent out an assessor to check the status of my vehicle who checked and confirmed the terrible state of my gearbox and yet have still rejected my claim today ! I have suffered with my car as the turn around time for this company is absolutely ridiculous, also to suggest to me a second hand product is absolutely unprofessional!Further to this I was told the reason that they didn’t want to pay for a new gear box was that my policy is covered for 127000 and if they pay for a new gear box that this would “finish the credit on my policy “ yet today they have rejected anyway ! I want to know where they got the made up km from ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BY TAKING ON THEIR WARRANTY COVER .
