****** Thousands of rands by Gateway innovation Group

Hellopeter!

(My review is contained in the e-mail that I sent to Gateway innovations Group below)

Good Day Sir/Mam!

I have been trying for almost a week to get answers from your team but I do not get proper answers. I (had) a Service Plan Policy with you which I took in November 2012. In December2 if I'm not mistaken, I made a call to your team to enquire about the settlement amount. I was told I owe three months premium., which was one in 2014 two in mid 2015. I want to brought into your attention that since I took the policy which was telephonically I never received any form of invoice after payment. No did I get any letter or e-mail stating the agreement and the contract on the policy.

The reason for my calling on that day was to ask for a settlement which I then ask one of your team to calculate for me, including the three months that was said to be owing. I was given a sum of R1465,20 , which I request that a debit order would be made for the payment. The debit order was made on 11 December. On December 25 a debit order of R294,04 was made again and I had to stop it., knowing I have settled the account. As usual I did not get any letter or invoice notifying me of the settlement or that I 'was owing as you have never done it before

I do not want to get much on the manner that you run your services, but surely there are questions that a sober person would ask. In the past three years I paid more than R10 000 for the service that I have not used. If decision to cancel the policy was taken for whatever reason why was I not told FORMALY? If I had breach the contract, which I do not recall receiving what have you done to bring it to my attention. Finally as said " all calls are recorded", I would like you to visit the call that I made on the December 2 2015 (what was the intention and the conversation on that call.) I do have legal assistant and I would have brought the matter to Dr van Zyl cause I do not think he will appreciate the manner I am treated as a Toyota customer. Let alone the fact that I work for Toyota, this is not how we represent Toyota Family.

The final nail in coffin is when I book for the service with DURBAN SOUTH TOYOTA ( the dealer) I ask them to verify that the policy was active 4 days before the service which was confirmed active. Myself I have a Toyota app which I checked all the time and my policy came active. To my surprise I had to pay R3432.00 that was not on budget to release my car after service. Still on my arrival at the Dealer we check the Policy on line with the Dealer, it still came active.

I wish and hope that sanity will prevail over this matter!

(I will post the response that I received in almost a year after this e-mail)
