Please check fine print - "FRICTION SURFACES EXCLUDED"

I have previously purchased their warranty and service plans, and will considering doing so again. The service plans are especially worth it for cars with engines with pricey timing belts / chains that require replacement at intervals (according to the manufacturer's listed maintenance schedule).

HOWEVER - consumers should note: even if you buy BOTH the Service Plan and the Maintenance Plan, you are on your own for replacement brakes, clutches, batteries, tyres and wipers. These are all wear and tear items you will have to replace when a car hits 120 000+ kilometers and ones you may reasonably assume are included in a SERVICE PLAN.

THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED.

These exclusions are not made particularly clear when you take out the plan and they then fool you into thinking that you are covered.

For the big bills, sorry - you will be on your own.
