MFC - Innovations Group is violating consumer rights and taking advantage of us.

I have an extended warranty with MFC - Innovations Group. I lodged a claim which was declined based on reasons that were not discussed or explained to me during the policy application. On the policy, they mentioned covered components and the component I claimed for is also mentioned but the claim was declined because they say it is wear and tear. Now I'm sitting with the debt to pay the dealership for stripping the car to determine the problem. Why these policies are against consumers, we pay insurance to rest assured but when you claim they decline.

The Short-term Insurance Ombudsman is only looking at the Insurance policies and decides in favor of the Insurer because the insurer quotes reason for decline in the policy document. They don't investigate if the same policy was explained to the consumer or if our right is violated by these policies.

I'm canceling all my insurance policies because there is no use of paying for something that won't cover you on the claim stage. Our government is allowing these money schemes to violate consumer rights. It is a waste of our tax money to have Short-term Insurance Ombudsman.
