Innovation receives the award for worst customer service
I wish I could give zero stars.... A few years ago we purchased a vehicle through a dealership that works with Innovation. Less than a month later the engine gave problems, the dealership took this vehicle back and we purchased another one. During last year, I was notified that my warranty is expiring and if I would like to extend it, to which I agreed, only to find out that this warranty was still for the previous vehicle. I requested it to be cancelled and explained we no longer have that vehicle and should be taken off my policy. Few later, I was contacted again for the warranty extension on the correct vehicle, which I approved, but while talking to the sales person I realized they still had the previous vehicle's registration number, to which I explained the story again and asked that this should please be corrected, which I was promised will be done. Now, two months later we had to send the vehicle in for repairs, I requested the policy documents (which I didn't receive in the first place due to my email being incorrect), and saw on the documents that everything is incorrect. The vehicle description was for a vehicle I never owned (not even the previous vehicle), the registration was still for the previous vehicle. After struggling to get through to someone that can help me, because apparently is takes about 15-20 minutes to answer the phone, I found out that even the VIN number is incorrect. I was then told that they first had to go through call recordings before they can change the VIN number, I still have no idea why I as the customer had to wait for them to first go through the recordings which was an internal issue. Finally, two days later I received a mail that everything has been corrected, but they can't send me the policy documents, as this request was sent to another department that will take another 24-48 hours (which I only received this morning, still with the incorrect details!!!) In the meantime, the process for the claim finally started, but it seems as if there is also a communication problem in the claims department, as they claim they are waiting for documents from the workshop, but according to the workshop everything has been sent and they didn't receive any other communication about what is still required. When I followed up with Innovation, I just get a reply they are waiting for documents, and when I asked what documents are needed so that I can ask the workshop, I had to follow up twice before getting the same reply of them waiting for documents. When I requested what documents are needed again, I just get a short reply asking if the workshop is a registered company, which information could be found on the quote sent last week already, and still not answering my question. So now, I'm without a vehicle for almost two weeks already, due to first having incorrect info on my policy, wasting two days just to correct it, and now waiting for answers as to what is needed just to get the claim process going. This is by far the worst service I have ever received from a company. Due to communication problems between Innovation and the workshop, I am trying to speed up the process so that I can tell the workshop what is needed from them, but my questions are just being ignored.
