Innovation Group and it's poor recommendation of a mechanic.

I took on an motor warranty plan with Innovation Group through my insurer, First for Women (Whom themselves have given me a tough time). My car needed repairs. I called enquired, and even asked for a list of mechanic providers that are recommended and approved partners. When the issue was found, a claim was made and Innovation Group rejected the claim to have my catalytic converter replaced. I then paid R1300 as recommended by the mechanic, Khash to clean out the blockage in the catalytic converter as a temporary solution. I then filed a complaint on the rejection of my claim after I had to fight until my insurer said they will pay. I looked at the recommended dealer list from Innovation Group and went with Augustus Auto in Johannesburg. The mechanic Khash seemed to have good intentions. The claim was pre-approved. It took a month before he took my car in, the mechanic Khash cited that the part had been ordered but not yet delivered. The car was taken in on Monday, 14 June. I called on Thursday for an update and was advised that the repair takes a week and the mechanic is still waiting for delivery of the part. The following day I was called and advised that the car was ready and the mechanic shared photos of the new part. He advised the engine has been cleaned along with the car. Khash the mechanic mentioned that my car was very dirty and that his employer complained. I informed him I have kis. He said he understood and he asked we write a good review. I collected the car the following Monday. The mechanic told us the brakes needed to be replaced. I advised I would do so. The mechanic again reminded us to write a good review. We asked if we can have the part that has been removed. He said no we cannot have it. The car was collected and parked for days. On the day I decided to use the car for a longer trip- massive issues began on the car. The car was not getting power to drive faster. The car was also switching off. I thankfully reached reached home. We then inspected the car and noticed that the water pipe was broken and held by Qbond. I called Khash and he was very rude to us and insisted the pipe was broken when it arrived at his workshop. We asked why had he not informed us. He said we could not afford to replace our brakes thus we would not even afford to resolve the issue with the pipe. He told us that we cannot tell him days later that there is a issue with the car. We asked for the job card. He said he does have it but it is not his responsibility or need to show or hand over to us. Since we lodged the query with Khash, he became quite rude, dismissive and defensive. My question is why does Innovation Group recommend a person like this? My car now sits and I am not able to drive it. I pay for the insurance to protect my car, but again I have been failed. I will be looking at alternative resources and insurers because this is unacceptable once again. I really should have looked for a mechanic on my own.
