<p>I have taken out a 2 year motorMend Auto Aid Warranty on a Landcruiser. The sales person promised me they would refund me if ever I sell the vehicle before the 2 years of cover has passed. I had to sell the vehicle after using only 8 months of the 2 year's 'Super Drive Warranty' cover. So from an initial R12 261 they refunded me R2 358! I used their "cover" for less than half (only 8 months) of the 2 years and they refund less than 20%... Kindly be advised that the Warranty is a Dealer sold Policy and unfortunately, we are not able to retrieve the voice recordings. Kindly refer to Section E of the policy documentation which states,:
· If a claim has been paid under your policy there will be no refund due.
· If a refund is due, all cost incurred, including commissions, underwriting fees, and binder fees will be debited. The balance will be refunded on a pro-rata basis and payment will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation request date.

So more than 80% of the 'policy' is for your costs incurred for admin! WOW, what does that leave for the actual insurance? No wonder you have so many negative reports on your business... You probably cannot afford to pay out any claims.
