BEWARE OF INNOVATION GROUP FOR EXTENDED WARRENTY.

After singing my praises for the staff of this company, the true policy of this company came to the forth. I had a mechanical breakdown on 19 July 2026. I was beautully assisted by the call Centre agent. Then when I send my car to a small business owner this company came with such high demands that this business owner lost his cool and asked me to remove my car. Then I call one of the preferred service providers on the list for a cylinder head and radiator replacement. He told me to have my car a 2012 Ford Fiesta delivered at his workshop. Ten days later I received a quote for R109054. 00 for work to be done on my car. Then I rejected this, quote, because who in his rightful mind will accept such a quote. Then I received a damand of R8300 from this service provider for services done on my car. This company became so forceful and demanding, that I cracked under their pressure that landed me in the psychiatric ward of a hospital, where I'm currently receiving treatment. . I had to book myself in before I do something that cannot be reversed. This insurance company don't answer emails. I explained my situation, but their arguments are that I'm responsible for the cost. I didn't want any diagnostic test done, or assessment done on my car. This is a requirement of this insurance company, before they approve a claim. Why must I a pensioner pay for something that the insurer want. Why does this workshop want money from me, because they agreed to the insurance company to repairs the cars of their clients. In the event where a client refuse to accept such unthinkable, quotations, then the client must pay the bill. Why does this insurance company have workshops who quote for work that's much higher than the value of the car. This insurance company are fully aware of maximum cover of claims on the engine, so why not allow the consumer to get his or her vehicles fixed at a registered workshop, that doesn't charge such mind-blowing prices for services. It is clear that this insurance company do not support small businesses owners, but the big companies. Why must they be so prescriptive as to who must work on the car of an owner? I wrote numerous emails to this company, without any reply nor answers. My comprehensive insurer will never treat me like this. I'm with my current insurer for more than 13 years, without a claim. Why can that insurer accept any legimate quote and settled it, without any fame not favor. Leave the choice of workshop to the claimant, without being prescriptive. The Innovation Group takes the freedom of choice away from an owner of a vehicle, by prescribing as to who and who not must work on the vehicle of the owner.
