Absa innovation group service plan via telephone, a very bad idea

Early April 2017 I took out a policy from Absa innovation group to service my car. All along I have known the service policy to be lasting for 24 months hence I was expecting to be debited 24 months. After paying for 24 months I noticed that the debit orders were still going through. So I called Absa finance which directed me to Absa innovation group. I was told that my policy was for 30 months and I told them I was not aware because there was no where in the documentation that I received where it states that the policy was going to run for 30 months. They said they were going to review the voice recordings since I took the policy via a phone call. Indeed they reviewed the policy and the consultant did mention the 30 months payment term. Interesting thing to note during my phone call with the consultant was that the line was bad and we kept on having difficulty hearing each other. I requested for proof that indeed they sent me any form of documentation that stated the 30 months, but since then I have never received any feedback from Mpho Ntsumele . I feel it is unfair to only rely on a phone call, atleast there was supposed to be some form of a documentation where the 30 months term should be mentioned

Thank you for following up on the matter, unfortunately the matter could not be resolved since they say the guy did mention the payment term on telephone. What I still find disturbing is that there were no documents that could be found where the 30 months payment term was stated. I was told if I want to take the matter further I should take the matter to court, which does not make financial sense because so far I have paid 26 payments and only 4 payment are remaining. I will just pay the 4 payments and make sure that in future I don't take any policy on the phone without receiving proper documentation first. I was purely deceived.
