72 hours to update change of ownership, and definitely not faster

When I bought a 2nd hand car in June, I was led to believe that the warranty was transferred to my name, after following up with the dealership multiple times.

My car is currently in for repairs, which the warranty should cover.

Innovation Group CAN find the car's warranty, but, do not want to honor it yet, as it still needs to be transferred to my name. Their policy is that a change of ownership takes 72 hours, and no faster, not even this time of the year when they have very few transfers coming in. The Call Centre agent just kept to her story that they cannot do it any faster than 72 hours.

I guess I will pay for the mechanical repairs myself, and then once the transfer has been done to my name, then I'll have to go through the pain of claiming through them too - and that is probably going to take 72 days....if a change of ownership takes 72 hours!
