Phone Repair
During December I sent my Xperia E1 in for repair through Autopage understanding during the holiday period it may take a while. On 22 January I get SMS saying I need to accept a quote, I duly phone the call centre and find out that incorrect or no proof of purchase was sent when it was booked. I rush of to Autopage to get the documents as mine are in storage due to renovations. I call the call centre whilst in the Autopage store to get instructions on what documents will suffice and where to send, now talking to a rude call centre consultant and getting long drawn out explanations because she actually doesn't know, finally I sent all the documents I can to an email address provided by the consultant, only to receive a reply that the documents can't be accepted via email and need to be logged in another way. Calling the next day again speaking to the same consultant I get told person helping you gave you incorrect instructions. Now I'm fuming so I tell proof of purchase is irrelevant as the phone was only released in the beginning of 2014 hence it must be in warranty. The consultant was rude and unhelpful upon asking to speak to a supervisor I was told no you don't and hung up on.
