Extremely Dangerous Installation – No Accountability from Clean Heat

I am writing this review to warn others about my very serious and traumatic experience with Clean Heat Domestic Gas Installations (Pty) Ltd.

Gerrit from the company installed a gas fire pit at my property. When I attempted to switch it on for the first time, it exploded. The explosion was so severe that I sustained a broken neck and had to spend several days in the hospital. It was an incredibly traumatic and life-threatening experience.

After the incident, I informed Gerrit about what had happened. Instead of taking responsibility, he told me that he does not have insurance to cover the damages and denied any responsibility for the installation. There was no offer to inspect the faulty work, no compensation for the damage to my property, and no concern shown for the injuries I suffered as a result of the explosion.

I am deeply disappointed by the lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic duty of care. Gas installations are extremely dangerous if not done correctly, and customers trust qualified installers to ensure their safety. In my experience, that trust was completely broken.

I strongly urge others to be cautious before using this company.
