Poor service from Inflation Station SA

Whatever you do, DO NOT, use Inflation Station SA

This company ruined my niece’s sweet 16th birthday. They refused to install their station due to the wind that was taking place at the time (60km/ph).

They didn’t manage us on the fact that they cannot inflate under windy conditions - the store policy only speaks to stormy weather and this was not the case at all. We gave them option of waiting until the wind settled (which it did) and we explained that at the 11th hour, we are desperate to have this happen as we already had 20 teenage kids inside the house waiting for this. We had no plan B - had they managed us earlier in the day, we could’ve come up with another plan for entertainment.

How do you show up to the event only to cancel there and then with all the guests already at the party waiting?

Lastly, it was a normal windy day in Cape Town. No Gail force. No rain. Surely if you operating in Cape Town, you’d plan for this weather occurrence? Surely, you’d have pegs and re-enforcements to secure an inflatable, in normal windy weather, otherwise what kind of Mickey Mouse operation are you running?

Whilst we received a refund, the lack of managing the client in advance and refusing to fulfil a contractual obligation, destroyed the main aspect of our event. We had no plan B. My niece’s 16th is ruined - thanks to this company.

We are based in Cape Town - I strongly suggest not using ANY of their services in Cape Town. There’s a reason this service is cheap in comparison to hiring a proper events company.
