<p>Owners Shaun Palvi and Mark Evert are not people you want to do business with. I agreed to purchase a vehicle though them and, once we had agreed on the price and conditions, I went about getting the finance and insurance in place to conclude the deal.</p> <p>I was in constant contact with them throughout the process and then we agreed on a date on which to finalise the deal. Less than 24 hours before I recieved all the documentation and insurance required I confirmed that everything was still in order and they confirmed the same.</p> <p>Come the day when we are to conclude the deal, I get a message to say the vehicle has been sold and they didnt feel like they needed to tell me. Their excuse was that I wouldnt have believed them if they had said there was another buyer. </p> <p>There was never any mention of there being any time pressure, in fact, I specifically told them I was not in a rush. I was so certain of the process that I had sold my current vehicle independently in the inteim so I am now left with no vehicle at all.</p> <p> </p> <p>To add insult to injury, I called both Shaun and Mark independently to reason with them and Mark said he didnt care and that it wasnt his problem. </p> <p> </p> <p>They have not got a website and only operate through Gumtree, when I questioned why, they said that it was easier to advertise through Gumtree. But I now suspect it is because they prefer to operate under the radar. </p>
