You may as well not be insured

<p>My mom is insured through John Burnett brokers who insure through Infiniti insurance. Someone broke into her house, tied people up ransacked her house and stole various items. The items where worth approx R150 000. She has been insured through John Burnett for about 15 years. Im am aware she didnt specify everything she had. She was 20% underinsured. They sent various assessors to her who literally questioned my 82 year old mom for one and a half hours. My mom is an honest person who would NEVER make this up. The police showed up shortly afterward and found the house upside down. They decided to pay her R 3500.00 and put up her premiums 40% after 15 years of taking her money. Rather dont be insured then give these people money. They are also NOT cheap but we thought dont go for the cheapest or when you need them you will regret it.</p>
