really unhappy

I purchased a mechanical warranty on my vehicle to cover incidents if my engine and any other major components failed.After servicing my vehicle at the agents, the engine did fail only be told that The claim was not rejected due to inconsistent servicing.The claim on the engine repair was rejected due to the cause of failure not being covered under his policy. The Breather Unit was faulty. The Engine Breather Valve is unfortunately not listed as a covered component under the policy.I am not a mechanic, but the driver of the vehicle, I however do know that engines do not just fail, something has to cause the engine to fail And if the breather unit caused it to fail,why is it not covered.The wording in the policy is misleading. any component outside the engine can cause the engine to fail and yet the warranty company chooses to mention this when the policy is purchased.Please assist me in setting the record straight with the underwriters. they manipulate the wording to suit themselves and not the customer. (its the same example for when you take out a life policy but if you die from a heart attack then they feel you sorry the heart is not covered) it is unacceptable.
