Pathetic Customer Service-Messed Around For Months
19 June 2014 Car went to panelbeaters for respray, replacement of sunroof and other things.Quote approved. Car came back incorrect colour, broken sunroof and nothing fixed to standard.Meeting held with Panelbeater, paint supplier and paint manufacturer as well as assessors. All agreed in writing that incorrect colour on vehicle and completely poor workmanship. It was agreed that all avenues taken to rectify will leave me prejudiced except for Write-off.To date I am still waiting for Insurance to make a decision (Almost 8months later). They keep getting new people involved when all proof is there(Pictures as well). The keep blaming other factors like 1 MONTH shutdown of Motor Industry. They have had plenty of time to rectify especially with everything in Writing from all parties concerned. They got close to 7 different companies involved to resolve with no luck.It seems they are just out to frustrate clients to a point where we forget claim and move on.It is clear that they do not know how to handle large claims and take chances.I called them in November to explain myside and money I am losing,I was told that is not their problem.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE FLY BY NIGHT INSURANCE COMPANIES.
We herewith respond to your query as to progress on your recent claim.
We have been in constant communication with your broker to resolve things as speedily as possible.
We've further appointed an independent assessor who has reviewed the entire case and is negotiating with the panel beater, the CRA and the paint manufacturer.
We confirm that a meeting between all parties has been set for 9.30 on Monday morning and a courtesy vehicle arranged by the repairer.
We trust that this issue will be resolved post-haste.
Kind regards
