Infiniti - worst insurance company in SA

Please cancel with Infiniti Insurance as soon as possible and get other insurance.

I was in the position that i had to claim for a ring that was ****** from my house. It was my wife wedding ring that we bought in 2015 with an evaluation certificate. The ring was specified under all risk. I provided the insurance the evaluation certificate and proof or ownership. The certificate indicate R14990 in 2015, Infiniti replace the ring. The supplier quoted R6582 to replace the ring at cost including VAT. When I contacted the supplier they said they will issue me again with an evaluation certificate but the value will only be for around R10000. I worked through my policy and I submitted and adhere to all their rules but still they refused to replace the ring to the original value of R14990 before the loss. I know they cannot and are not allowed to put me in a better financial position after the claim. But surely they can make their own sums and see that I am R5000 worst off after the claim. And this does not even include inflation over the last 4 years. Please find out from your broker what your insurance company is and cancel with Infiniti.
