Is it a ****?

I have requested a withdrawal or cancellation of debt review, which I was told that I can't cancel. I called another company doing debt reviews and they told me that that is incorrect information. My calls are routed to different people who say different things contradicting information every time. I told the consultant I should not have been in Debt review because I don't actually qualify. Her response was that I don't get to decide if I am over-indebted or not, I have to submit a salary slip and list of my expenses for them to decide If I am over-indebted or not. I submit the documents and don't get a response. This is supposed to be a voluntary process, can someone explain why it seems as though I am locked into a process I'm actually not allowed to get out of? What happened to 60 days to withdraw? I was not liquidated for crying out loud. A blacklisting is less harsh than this! After submitting these documents, I don't get a response. No response to my emails, no return to my phone calls! I contacted an alternate Debt review company and they told me that by the time my case gets to the final stage, I won't be able to withdraw from the process, I will have to get an attorney to apply to court to have the debt review removed from my name! So that will actually cost me more money, putting me in debt??. Can someone explain how this process makes things easier for the consumer?? How does the NCA protect the consumer in this instance?!!! I don't feel protected!!
