Infinite Debt Solutions ****MERS
ABSOLUTE ********S AND QUITE LITERALLY LEGAL ****MERS!!!
They call selling you a "debt REVIEW" saying they work under the NCR and they are 'helping' people with their debt as all creditors are over charging their clients in interest and they want to see if I qualify for this. They took my ID number to "see if I qualify" and moments later they call me back saying I qualify for reduced installment payment on my home loan and my bond and they even told me that I'll be paying over R 2500 less per month towards my bond and car finance. Of course I was keen n interested n they they quickly proceeded to send me a link via sms where I had complete step 1 wit few personal details n then step 2 was for me to sign on my phone. Not knowing that my signature is being placed on a 16 page long document which I have never seen until I queried this whole process a few days later after the initial call I got on 5th August and that's when they informed me that I have enrolled in debt counselling and it is too late to cancel now as the process alreadybsrared and they sent forms to my creditors and to cancel now will be a 6 to 8 months process and it will cost me thousands in legal fees.
I was mislead into debt counseling as they sold me something very appealing under the premise n false use of the term "debt review"
Review of debit and counselling for debt is 2 very different terms but somehow the industry allows these terms to be used interchangeably.
Infinity debt solutions have since debited my account for the past 2 month and none of my creditors have been paid and now my bank is telling me that the amount the debt counselors are contributing towards my bond does not cover my home insurance and my insurance policy is now in danger of lasing.
I want out of this thing because I never needed any counseling for my debt and before the last 2 months I have never missed any payments and now I find myself in danger with my bond n car.
This was supposed to assist people but these ****MERS just want to sign up people knowing they making money of people striving for financial freedom.
They are ****mers and hiding behind the NCR and I really want the ombudsman or some authority to start investigating these ****MERS.
