***** and misrepresentation

I got a call from a lady claming that they a government department saying that the government opened their department due to covid relief and they have seen that people are paying too much interest on their loans and i asked her if she was from a dept review or dept counseling company many times and she said no on all those times and i explained to her that reason why i am asking is that in jan or feb i need to take a huge loan to grow my business and do other things if i am omn debt review i won't be able to get that loan, she said she is not from any debt review company and the only thing they do is contact my creditors tell them to lower the interest thats all everything will proceed as normal all my creditors will continue deducting from my account, with that i said lets go ahead. To my surprise i went to take out a loan and i was told i was put on dept review and then i got deductions from a dept review company.... I am not sure but i think what she did is called misrepresentation ***** in legal terms
