WORST EVER Infinity Dress Boutique South Africa, Table View/Blouberg

Just a huge big fat NO from us. We do not recommend them and will never ever support them again!

It was by far the worst experience of our lives and this business made absolutely NO EFFORT to compensate us, or even properly apologize for all the chaos they caused.

Our dresses were ridiculously late and we were coerced into immediate (non refundable 😰) deposits on 21 May due to an imaginary, imminent price hike the following Monday! Yet the prices remain the same on their website and it’s SEPT!

We followed up for weeks before the wedding and could never get an ETA and then the dresses arrived the MORNING BEFORE THE WEDDING. So we had to travel all the way to Cape Town to fetch them and learn to twist them, forcing us to neglect other brides**** duties after diligently sorting out our dresses way in advance.

They acted like we were overreacting and should somehow “love” them for giving us the dress that we paid premium prices for (AND “BOOKED” 4+ months prior) and be grateful that it arrived mere hours before the wedding day. (The wedding was 24 Sept 2022. Our dresses arrived on 23 Sept 2022!). Like they did us a favor!

*****ing up our order was treated like ‘business as usual’ and we had to be happy with “please don’t stress” while we had NO IDEA whether we’ll even have brides****’s dresses up until a day before the wedding!

NOT ONCE did they pick up the phone to keep us updated - we initiated ALL contact, except for the day of collection and when they needed proof of a payment made on 4 August already.

We had to rely on other vendors to reserve backup dresses for us, because we were so unimaginably abandoned by this boutique.

It would’ve cost us another R700+ EACH to hire something else.

With regards to the dresses: the mauve materials (bonbon & mesh) do not match at all - they are clearly two VERY different shades and resulted in a two-toned dress, which I will NEVER wear again and cost me my hard earned R1499…

I am beyond disappointed, regretful and disgusted.

The only upside is that the ONE dusty rose dress’ colour came out perfectly, but was still horribly late too.
