Poor quality, poor service

<p>I purchased a induction plate from Induction Wise stall, at the Someset East Biltong Festival, on 18th July 2014. On 17 June 2016 my plate stopped working and I contacted the company. They eventually collected the unit 2 weeks later. The unit was returned to me, "repaired" but did not work at all. I contacted them again and this time, the lady took more than a month to respond and collect the plate. I received a call today 19th October 2016, telling me that the units is not able to be repaired and that I should buy a new plate at R1,250.00! The guy who called me, said that the unit carried a 1 year replacement warranty and 2nd year repair warranty, but would not repair it, because it is too expensive and they would sell me a new one!! Pathetic!!!</p>
