Booking error
I made a booking on booking.com and paid fully for Indlovukazi Guest House in Hartebee****rt in the North West province. I mistakenly clicked April instead of May. And just because I paid fully I then never checked to confirm. It is an honest mistake from my site, and I was not even bothered to can revisit the confirmation as I knew that it is for 26th – 28th May 2026. I humbly request that my dates be amended from April 2026 as it reflects that I did not show up at the venue nor even get a notification or a call from the venue to confirm if I’m still coming even on the 2nd day of no show up. I only realized this on Saturday the 02nd May 2026 when I was going through my emails, and I immediately reached out to the venue on the same date of the 02nd May 2026 to explain my problem. Should I have picked it earlier I would’ve still asked for amendment as the month was not for April but May instead. I called in o Monday the 04th May 2026 and my details were taken, only for me to receive a call from Wilhemina Mbala who refused to assist me at source telling me that there is nothing they can do I have forfeited my benefit of the stay. I take full accountability that the error was done by me not the venue, hence I am requesting help with the amendment even if it means paying a fine for this.. while on the call with them they gave me an email address to send the email to, till today the 15th May 2026 i have not received any response from them.
