No Black people at Indigo Bay 32 Holiday Apartment

As mentioned telephonically, I’m in absolute shock and disbelief to what’s mentioned hereunder.

The ladies present during that weekend are all professionals in their careers and none of them could ***** any items from the house.

Nevertheless, please can you query the following:

1x Clothes horse missing - R400.00... this was never identified at our arrival

1x Jaccuzzi wooden door broken - R225.00.... was already broken as per notice inserted in a plastic sleeve pasted on the entrance door leading onto the roof.

6x Pillows Missing - R1200.00 ..... Please can she look around the entire house, in all bedrooms as well. There were 2 pillows per single bed and 4 in all queen beds. These would have been identified at our departure on all personal items. You can’t miss a pillow, how much more 6! In the long cupboard at the beginning of the passage, there were only cushions and throws including those round cushions.

2x Breakfast glasses - R40.00.... I only know of 1 but I can accept 2.

1x Plastic deck lounger broken - R1400.00..... as far as I am concerned and upon my enquiry I am told that the 1 lounger with the navy pleather cushioning had a slight defect on the arms rest, as such one of the ladies actually fell due to imbalance.

I personally took responsibility of ensuring that the unit is at least at a stable condition and made sure that everything was in place when we left, with the exception of the blinds in the main bedroom as none of us could close them. Another thing were all know that a brokerage/ damage fee was paid, what on earth would possess us to further ***** from the unit.

I do believe that the inspector is taking chances here as we are made liable for someone else’s damage done before our arrival.

Please do also make use of the CCV footage from the complex security to establish the identification of the missing pillows at our departure. Those pillows were so big, and wouldn’t fit any weekender.

One more thing; we have our ladies retreat every two months, at no point where we ever accused of missing pillows and or any other items, not to mention breaking major items other than glasses or plates.

I humbly request that the inspector thoroughly does his/ her checks again, as its been well over a 10 days since our departure, at yet another weekend has passed, but we are only being told of the damages today.

I am extremely shocked to think that this may be insinuated against us.

Please may you request further investigation and advise.
