Indian Consulate CT office - Unprofessional

I visited the offices of the Indian Consulate CT in April to get some documents authenticated. Because all the requirements weren't met I went back a second time. This time I had the forms certified by the relevant departments, and I had it notarized. Unfortunately I went back for the 5th time because they wanted it authenticated by the DIRCO. I had it done and went back for the 6th time. This time they wanted the passports, a photo, and a utility bill. I tried to explain that the persons are living overseas and that it was virtually not possible to arrange for the info required. I also required the stamped forms immediately as I was leaving overseas the next day. I had to kick up a fuss for the officials to finally authenticate the forms. It took them almost 2 months to resolve a simple matter, this after the intervention of the high commissioner. The service was sloppy, unprofessional, with rude and arrogant staff.
