********* & Self Serving News Reporting - The Daily News

The Daily News, once a highly respected newspaper, is now nothing more than a rag. It is now used for self serving purposes by its Chairman Iqbal Surve'. Out of curiosity, I did a quick background check to find out why it disintegrated into publishing **** news and propaganda. It didn't take me long to find the reason.

There's this Public Investment Corp (PIC) Commission of Inquiry looking into about R5 billion ******* loan made to AYO Technology Solutions in 2017, a subsidiary of Sekunjalo Investment Holdings. The PIC wants to liquidate Sekunjalo. A search and seizure took place at their Cape Town offices. Iqbal Surve' pens front page articles alleging Pravin Gordhan was behind the search and seizure. Pravin Gordhan denied this. The raid was conducted by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). He then accused Judge Gamble and said Pravin was a friend of the judge. The judge denied this and said he never met Gordhan. Sauve' attacks the Judiciary to distract & deflect. I DON'T WANT TO READ THIS ******* AND **** NEWS. You don't find Jeff Bizos writing articles defending himself in The Washington Post. It's called integrity. This is what people like Donald Trump does. (Uses his platform to claim he won the election) Sauve' also uses his minions, writers, editors to further his agenda. The Daily News is now a joke. (FOR THE RECORD, I DON'T KNOW, MET OR SPOKEN TO PRAVIN GORDHAN.

There are other controversies that ***** fair reporting. Articles by Shannon Ebrahim and others praising China comes to mind. China has a despicable human rights record. Something that cannot be disputed. One such is the internment and torture of ethnic Muslim Uighurs. IT TURNS OUT THAT CHINA OWNS 20% OF SEKUNJALO. It seems Sauve' controls Editorial Content.

Another issue why I am discontinuing my subscription is that Horse Racing, a staple content for many readers has been discontinued. Your newspaper is now delivered at 7-8am. Why? We have The Mercury as our morning paper. This issue here is in getting the sports results 2 days later.

There are many other issues that I won't get into, but you get the point I am making. Your content is shallow, self serving, full of holes and contains **** news and propaganda.
