Such Independence that they don't need subscribers

My 87 year old mother who loves receiving her newspaper early in the morning, renewed her subscription telephonically on 7th April.<br> For close to a week she has not received her newspaper and only on calling them yesterday was told that her card payment did not got through.<br> Firstly this is impossible<br> Secondly why didn't they have the common decency and courtesy to call her and tell her??<br> Such uncaring people working there.<br> This is also obvious by the fact that only one complaint on Hellopeter has been responded to.<br> Shame on you Independent Newspapers.
