Steer clear - bad service, no invoices, random non delivery

As a business owner with 4 subscriptions I found dealing with Independent Newspapers a complete pain. They refused to send me invoices so I could claim the VAT, they randomly didn't deliver and would promise to refund and then never did, they did not respond to e-mails and was very difficult to get hold of the right people on phone. On top of that the people there have a real attitude problem, where they seem to think they're doing you a free favour and now you're bugging them with your insignificant issues. Media 24 by contrast has been fast to respond, sends me my invoices as the debit orders go off, and have been friendly and helpful whenever I dealt with them. If at all possible steer clear from Independent Newspapers. They simply don't care about their subscribers. INL wanted me to phone them every month, for every subscription, in order to receive an invoice which is absolutely pathetic and impractical.
