INDEPENDENT NEWSPAPERS LTD - DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS NEWSPAPER!!

<p>First off you should have a section for complaints.</p> <p>I was not working so my debit orders came back as unpaid. Once I started working I get a call to re-subscribe to the newspaper.</p> <p>Durban - Asina Chetty tells me that I have an outstanding amount of R110.63, I made payment. I also made a payment of R172.25 (R48.75 Saturday Independent + R123.50 Sunday Tribune -- 3 month subscription) so I paid R282.88 in total.</p> <p> I authorise Asina to affect a debit order on my account so that the daily news can go off.</p> <p>22-06-2017 I get renewal notices for the Sunday Tribune and the Saturday Independent!!!! I call Vijay and she says that I was never told about the other outstanding amounts (R97.66 Sunday Tribune + R38.55 Saturday Independent = Total R136.21). She says that the payments were absorbed for the arrears. To top off this sham, Vijay tells me that my 3 months subscription for the Sunday Tribune and the Saturday Independent is expired!! I paid for 3 months of subscriptions and 2 weeks later I am notified that its expired. So I paid R282.88 and the mysterious 2nd arrears amount is R136.21………….. What happened to the balance of my payment R146.67?? </p> <p>Every payment I made I used a reference number and in good faith I expected the payments to be allocated accordingly. But INL just did what they wanted!!!</p>
