Shocking experience -- four month saga of frustration

Sadly this company is extremely poorly run and you will struggle to get your products from them. I would like to support local business but it is clear that this local business is taking customers for a ride. I cannot in good conscience say anything other than: STAY AWAY.

I placed an order on 10 June (they are quick to take your money) and gave them until 7 August before I followed up. When I contacted them on 7 August they told me that the order had been complete for a week but the unrest in Cape Town meant that it could not be couriered.

I then contacted them on 7 September as I had still not received my order (note that this is THREE MONTHS after placing the order) and was told that the parcel "had been booked out a week ago". Then on 9 September I was told that "the order had to be re-made" because the courier company says it is still in transit. I actually don't believe this story at all, and suspect it was just a delaying tactic.

On 14 September I received a package, FINALLY, but it was MISSING HALF THE ITEMS. On 15 September I was told the remaining items had been located and sent off to me. When the second package arrived IT WAS STILL MISSING AN ITEM.

On 21 September I contacted them again and asked for a refund for the missing item, as I could not wait months for the missing item to be delivered to me. On 22 September they told me the refund request had been sent off to urgently actioned. Guess what... it took until 9 October, when I sent several messages following up on the refund that had ostensibly been urgently actioned on 22 September, to get my refund.

This saga of a single order started on 10 June and ended on 9 October, so basically four calendar months from start to finish. Take heed of my story and look elsewhere, I'm afraid -- you'll have no luck here.
