Dissatisfied Customer
Hello Peter. Please help me get justice from Incredible Solutions. I purchased my Lenovo Laptop cash for R13999 on 04/09/2017. It wasn't the smoothest running machine however I barred with it. But then it started getting out of control when it would refuse to switch on when the battery died so I took it in at Dionwired on 13/08/2018 and a technician from Incredible solutions called me and said the Laptop is working perfectly fine by him and that perhaps I must ensure to always shut it down properly. I collected the Laptop and soon as the battery died and I tried to charge it , it didn't charge. So I contacted Greg the Dionwired store manager and he said I must bring it in. They tried three chargers in store and it still didn't charge and so they determined that it was indeed not the charger that was faulty. And so on 27/08/2018 they booked it in again. A technician from Incredible Solutions contacted me again and told me that fixing this laptop would be equivalent to buying a new one and that I would be charged for it. However my laptop is under their three year warranty. On Wednesday I went into Dionwired to hear them out and found the attached report that details how the unit needs a motherboard, ODD, Hard drive and LCD. They further explained how it will cost me more than what the unit cost me. Hence the unit is uneconomical to repair instead of giving me a new laptop. I am very disappointed in their service as where does this leave me as a customer? I had to resign at Sanlam insurance as I could not work without my laptop on 25 September 2018. Imagine all the petrol I keep wasting going back and forth to the Gateway Dionwired store. I would like to be compensated for my petrol as well. Thank you , Nosisa Mxoli ********** 395.
