Unfair Service
On the 11th of June 2020 l ordered a Ps4 Playstation at Incredible connection kimberley. There was no stock at that branch but the guy who was helping me (Choppa) managed to locate stock at Incredible Connection Sandton branch. He communicated with the branch and he managed to secure a unit which would be delivered (for me) to Kimberley in a few days. After being told that the unit has been secured l wanted to make a payment but was told to pay upon collection as the process requires the serial number of the specific Playstation. I wanted to buy from Incredible Connection because l wanted to use Standard Bank Ucount points and there was a promotion (5 to 17 June 2020) on which the unit was being sold at R5 299 instead of the normal price of R6 199. On the 15th of June 2020 l went to the Kimberley branch to check if the Playstation was delivered. I was told that there was an approval process which was delayed by the Area manager therefore delivery could not be done. I discussed the unfairness of this with the Kimberly branch manager who promised to follow up with the Area manager. Later that day l phoned Choppa to follow up and l was told that approval was done but Sandton branch had sold the unit and there was no more stock in the whole country . When l asked for the way forward from the Kimberley branch manager she told me that when they receive stock after the 17th the Playstation will be sold to me at the normal price and not the promotional price. I find this unfair because as a customer I should not be prejudiced because of lncredible Connection 's internal delays and miscommunication within their branches. The fact that the Area manager delayed the process and Sandton branch did not honor their commitment should not affect the customer. If l was told on time that Sandton branch will not deliver l would have ordered online from other branches or l would have ordered from Makro which was running a similar promotion at the same time.
