Unbearable ********

Bought a shop display Dell i5 at a nice discount so felt all excited and like I'd scored a win. Took it home to find so much wrong with it you'd have thought it had been put through a crash test. Unresponsive touch pad/mousepad. Terrible white haze over display, poor graphics, slow performance etc. Took it back demanding a full refund. Here's where is gets interesting. Was told that they could only refund the cash component of my purchase and not the ebucks I'd used as 'it wasn't actual money'. Laughable, considering it was definitely money at the time of purchase. Deciding that life is too short for these sorts of fights I capitulated and put in another grand and got what I thought was a slightly superior machine. Unboxed it and was playing with it, finishing it slick and adequately impressive, but noticed a broken pixel on the screen so promptly drove straight back to the store and replaced it with a new one. Two weeks later and the machine is lagging, freezing and sticking. The mousepad is unresponsive and sticky, one of the number keys sticks and it's performance is slower than an old Pentium I have from the ark. Took it back to the store today and have left it with their tecchie to do his diagnostics tests. If he tells me I'm imagining things I'm going to lose my ****. I'm beginning to suspect that Incredible Connection is selling defective units. Please investigate this. Thanks.
