THREATING MANAGER

On 10 March I bought a Macbook Air for my daughter at Sandton. They agreed to instal the MS Office software which was done on 15 March.

My daughter, who is 15, updates videos to her Youtube channel and has been using her iPad to do this without any problems. When she used the Macbook it was loading less than 5% after an hour and the laptop was getting very hot.

We took it into Sandton branch on 21 March. Later we were phoned to say that they could not find the problem. We went back in and my daughter sat with the technical people and showed them what the problem was. They were adamant that the problem was with our internet speed even though there is nothing wrong with it and we can update on other devices.

They agreed to replace the laptop and instal the MS Office but wanted to change R450 to add on any other data. I had a problem with this and questioned how they could do this when an iStore would not charge and in view of the original laptop being faulty. I asked to speak to a manager and Kagiso ****siwa was called.

****siwa obviously was not happy with having to deal with an unhappy customer as he was not co-operative at all and I said that I wanted to take this up with head office. I wanted to take a photo of his name tag and he got highly agitated and said that I must not touch him. I tried to move his hand away from his name tag as he was covering it. On top of his voice he said a few times in a threating way that I must not touch him and alleged that I had almost attacked him. This all resulted from him not being prepared to hand over a business card. He then refused to deal with me and told someone else to sort out my problem. This is how I got his name.

Obviously ****siwa is not capable of handling unhappy customers and Incredible Connection are not willing to help out clients when they are sold defective products.

My daughter witnessed this poor customer service and she was also complaining to me that the technical staff were talking in their own language and laughing when she was with them and gave the impression that they did not believe that there was a problem.

In view of Incredible Connections total disregard for customer service and ****siwa’s disgusting attitude they have now lost a customer for life who has spent roughly R90,000 with them over the past 4 years on iPad’s, iPhones and laptops. I am sure iStore and Dionwired will appreciate my business.
