Terrible After Sales Service

I recently bought a Display TV from Somerset Mall Incredible Connection and after paying I got home only to discover it had a cracked screen. At the shop the screen was perfect when on display, but the TV was packed into the box upside down and the packaging didn't fit and was not able to properly close (as per the manufacturer's design of the box & foam for protection). The salesman led me to believe that the TV will be fine even if it was packaged in this way... So the shop taped it closed... After discovering the damage, I called the next day and a few times over the next 5 days... On contacting the shop I was advised repeatedly that its my problem and they are not liable for this... They even advised that I should rather claim on my insurance because they are not liable and they refuse to take responsibility or cover any costs on this... even though the Television was not packaged properly before allowing me to leave the store with the TV.
