Super ***** online stock practices

I ordered an ipad on 8 May. During the week before placing an order, I spoke to incredible connection customer care. The lady assured me that all items available for sale are indeed in stock and delivery is scheduled for 2-5 working days.

After 5 working days passed and no tracking info, I lodged a complaint. Days later I phoned again and asked for an escalation. I got a call back on the 18th to ask if anyone had contacted me yet, but didn’t get any further info on my order.

On 20 May I received an email from incredible connection which states that there is no more stock of the ipad I had ordered and that I can request a refund.

The thing is - Incredible Connection was still advertising the same ipad model on their online platform for a week after my order had been placed. In other words, they still indicated having stock by the time I was supposed to have already received my order. I find this to be questionable from a legal and ethical perspective. Is this just a way for them to get cash flow? Super ***** Nê!!! Or perhaps they do have stock but trying their luck for me to request a refund so that they could sell their stock at the going rate, which is increasing daily.

Now that prices are sky-rocketing, I will not be able to get the same ipad for the same price in the future and am obliged to wait for their delivery.

There are more competent companies out there. I would advise you think twice before dealing with incredible connection.
