Senseless 21 day waiting period after store confirmed issue in 10mins

Bought an Epson printer, wifi module broke. Incredible could reproduce and confirm the issue in store, yet now I have to wait 21 days for a possible replacement meaning I have to buy a new printer while I wait. Incredibly senseless - will never buy from them again.
