Selling only overpriced items as "essential"

So, Incredible Connection has items listed as essential and available for delivery during the lockdown period. Great, you say. What amazes me is that only overpriced items are listed as essentials. In my case - a fibre router. Nothing under R 1200 is considered essential. Why? If routers are essential items, then why are some routers more equal than others. Is this based purely on price?
